Travel to Warsaw

Thanks to the fact that Warsaw is the capital of Poland, there are many ways to get there. We recommend using air transportation, trains or long-distance coaches.

Warsaw has two airports. Modern Chopin Airport with regular connections to over 50 airports around Europe operated by 45 airlines and low cost carrier terminal Modlin Airport.

Rail transportation is provided by several stations. When choosing this type of travel, we recommend choosing Warsaw Central Station (Warszawa Centralna) or Warsaw West Station (Warszawa Zachodnia) as your final stations.

If you choose to travel by bus, we recommend that you choose Warsaw West Station (Warszawa Zachodnia) as your destination station.

Meals

The School organizers provide full board for the duration of the school, including refreshments during coffee breaks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served as buffets at the school. We believe that this form will provide the opportunity to compose a meal according to individual preferences. However, if there are special dietary requirements, please contact the school secretary.

Return to Warsaw

The organizers provide transportation to Warsaw after the School.

Poster presentation

To promote interaction among participants and encourage scientific discussion, each participant in the School will have the opportunity to present his or her research in the form of a poster. Posters will be displayed throughout the School so they can be viewed between lectures and at your leisure. Willingness to apply to present a poster will be possible during registration.

Visa and invitation letters

Participants who need a visa to enter Poland should contact the appropriate Polish consulate as soon as possible, as summer is the tourist season and due to the situation at the Polish border, consular offices may be overloaded. More information can be found on the government website: https://www.gov.pl/web/diplomacy/visas.
The ESCG-4 organizers may issue invitations to attendees upon request. For invitations, please contact us at escg4@unipress.waw.pl
